¿What time is check-in and check-out?
You can check-in from 13.00pm onwards and check-out is up to 12:00 pm. If you need to leave your room later than 12 pm check with our reception, the availability of the room, to modify your reservation with additional cost or you can exchange your points of our Secure Booking Program by City Plaza.

¿How can I confirm that my reservation has been made?
Step 4 of the reservation process will generate a confirmation number. You'll also receive an email with the details of your reservation. There's no need to contact the hotel to confirm. If you don't receive a confirmation email, please check the spam filters on your email software to make sure Hotel CityPlaza email can get through, and to verify that your Internet service provider does not block such email. You may use this confirmation number, along with the last name on the reservation, to review or change your reservation on http://www.hotelcityplaza.com.ec/

¿Can I extend a reservation by more than one day?
Yes you can extend your reservations subject to availability. The availability and rates will be confirmed upon request.

¿Can I extend a reservation until 18h00?
In the third step (additional services) you will see a drop-down list of additional services where you can request a late check out.

¿How can I be sure a room will accommodate the number of guests?
In Step 1 ("Choose dates, rooms & rates"), you'll notice each option features a link labeled “Room details.” Click that link to review the maximum number of guests permitted in a room. For your comfort, the number of guests you indicated in Step 1 should not be greater than this maximum. Only rooms that can accommodate the number of guests you indicated will be displayed.

¿How do I request an early check-in or late check-out?
We're happy to offer you early check-in or late check-out when available. During step 1 of making your reservation, click Edit Request(s) and select the "Early check-in" box to make your early check-in request. In the "Any special requests or needs?" field you can note your late check-out request, and it is best to speak with the front desk of the hotel on your day of departure to see if this can be accommodated. If the hotel is unable to accommodate this request, the front desk will hold your luggage for you while you wait.

¿How do I indicate special requests such as bed type, non-smoking room and accessible accommodations?
You may indicate room and accessibility preferences by expanding the “Special Requests & Needs” menu when viewing by rate type during the reservation process. You will be notified whether your specific preferences are ‘guaranteed', 'unavailable' or a ‘pending request’ during Step 2 of the reservation process. 'Unavailable' and ‘pending request’ preferences, while not available at the time of booking, will be noted on your reservation and the hotel will do their best to accommodate your request(s).


¿What is the cancellation policy?
Once you choose a hotel and see the list of rooms and rates for that hotel, select "Rate details" below the room description to see the cancellation policy for that rate. After selecting that rate, you will also see the cancellation policy in the Summary of Charges section of the Review Reservation Details page. If your reservation is made, you can open the reservation and view the cancellation policy toward the bottom in a separate box.

¿Is it possible to modify or cancel a pre-paid rate?
We have a strict policy on non-refundable prepayment rates, which does not allow for any sort of modification or cancellation. In case of a “force majeure” please contact the hotel.

¿How can I change/modify/or cancel my reservation?
Yes, you can easily modify dates. Go to “My Reservations” section on your personal page or on the homepage and enter the new dates.

¿Can I cancel a reservation that has already been confirmed?
Yes you can cancel one or several bookings, without any extra charge, depending on the cancelation policy indicated in the booking confirmation. You will receive an email confirming your new reservation.


¿Up to what age do children stay free of charge?
Children of up to 10 years of age stay free of charge. This applies for a maximum occupancy of two children per room and may vary depending on room size. Children up to 2 years of age are provided with free breakfast.

It is best price available at the time of your booking in our official website. You will not find a better price for the same room in other website. When you are booking at the best price guarantee the system will require the full payment in advance as well as the agreement of term and conditions for this rate.

Hotel City Plaza offers refundable rates (book now and pay in the hotel) of payment & the customer must provide credit card details to formalize his reservation. Your credit card will not be charged during the booking process, but will be used to secure your booking until your arrival. Your card will only be charged in the event that you do not cancel the reservation within the established cancellation period or no show case scenario. Your credit card details are secure with Hotel City Plaza. We will never share your data with third parties.

¿Why do I need a credit card and signed Credit Card Authorisation form to reserve a room?
In www.hotelcityplaza.com.ec requires all room reservations to be guaranteed by a valid credit card. Your credit card is not charged at the time of reservation, and is used as a guarantee that a room will be held in advance of your arrival. Your credit card will be charged only if pre-payment is required for a specific rate, or in the event that you do not cancel your reservation within the stated cancellation time period and do not check in. ¿Is there a maximum number of rooms that I can reserve through the website?
Yes, you can book a maximum of ten rooms per night. Each group is quote depending on the availability and type of rooms. From six rooms or 18 people is considered as a group.

¿How can I find out if my hotel offers an airport shuttle?
Hotel City Plaza does not offer shuttle airport-hotel for groups. However, we can help you in case is needed , contact us

¿Can I cancel my reservation and/or change the arrival date of my group?
Provided that we have rooms available we will be glad to help you to modify your arrival date.

¿What if I want to book a group, but want each individual guest to pay for their stay?
You may book a group reservation with your credit card, cash or cashier's deposit, and indicate to the hotel in the group contract that you want each individual guest to pay for their own room, tax and incidental expenses, or a combination of the above.

At the reservation cut-off date, you may have to indicate to the hotel the final number of rooms and nights that you desire for your group. You would also need to send the hotel a rooming list so they can verify the guests in your party and assign rooms to them.

This is the date when the hotel will consider your group a definite booking. At this time, the hotel will need to have final information regarding your group, and confirm any changes to payment type, number of rooms, etc.

If final reservations and additional information are not received by the cut-off date, the hotel may release the room reservation block and rooms will be on a space available basis only.
